The Jewelry Store

The Jewelry Store program (final name not yet determined) is a program designed to handle all facets of a commercial jewelry store business. This program handles inventory, sales, repairs, layaways, custom work, vendors, sub-contractors, customers (including mailings to customers for birthdays or anniversaries), etc. The program also tracks the assets of the business (furniture, computers, etc.), including the depreciation of these assets.

For daily use, there are many reporting functions, many of which can be customized by the user to produce the kinds of reports s/he wishes to see. There are numerous inventory reports (including shortage reports, and items on layaway), sales reports and cusstomer reports.

In addition, there is a complete acccounting package included which has a general journal and can keep track of all the accounting for the company. The accounting package produces trial balance, adjusted trial balance, balance sheet and income statement.

In short, you can run a complete business with this software.
